This application calculates the equilibrium compositions in gas phase conversion of ethylene to ethanol. It allows you to study how the initial conditions and the operating conditions affect the ethanol production.
The application is designed to be used as a teaching tool, both to provide an understanding for the dynamics of a chemical equilibrium, and to show how to compute quantitative results for the equilibrium composition.
