Exporting Domain Geometry

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone,

I am new to COMSOL and am looking at modelling heat transfer for a liquid cooled heat sink.

I have a model of a cold plate with two domains (one for material and one for fluid) which was imported from CATIA (CATPart file). The fluid domain was generated via the cap faces tool. I was just wondering if it is possible to export the geometry of just the fluid domain as a seperate CAD or data file (eg. IGES)?

If not, maybe there is a way to delete the geometry associated with the material domain from the model so that I only have the geometry associated with the fluid domain, and then maybe there is a way to export?

I have tried everything but I'm just not sure how to :(

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Cheers,

Alex
