How to calculated lumped parameters such as impedance of Homogeneous multi turn coil present in Magnetic Field (mf) physics under AD/DC Module clubbed with Electric Circuits module. Objective: I want to model a simple multi turn multi layer copper coil (solenoid) in comsole multiphysics. We have fabricated such coil and measured the lumped parameters of such coil which Agilent Impedance analyzer in our Lab. Parameters which we have measured are Impedance Z , Angle theta, Series Inductance Ls, Series Resistance Rs for a specific frequency sweep say 100Khz upto 5 MHz. Doing this we have measured the resonating frequency of coil for different size and geometry set. Now our requirement is to model the same set over comsole so as to optimize coil size, number of turns coil length and so on.
