During this presentation, we will look at a number of different mechanisms that are important to consider in a thermomechanical model, such as thermal expansion, phase change, and thermal creep. The webinar will focus on how these mechanisms can be studied with COMSOL Multiphysics® through various model examples and case studies.

The presentation will include a live demo in COMSOL Multiphysics®. You can ask questions throughout the webinar or at the end during the Q&A session.

Robbie Balcombe works as a technical team director at COMSOL. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2007 with a MEng in aero-mechanical engineering and then carried out his PhD in the area of numerical modeling of rolling contact fatigue at Imperial College London.
