This introductory demonstration will show you the fundamental workflow of the COMSOL Multiphysics® modeling environment. We will cover all of the key modeling steps, including geometry creation, setting up physics, meshing, solving, and postprocessing.

Coffee Break

Get a brief overview of the new COMSOL Compiler™, which enables you to create standalone applications, as well as the new Composite Materials Module and its capabilities.

Coffee Break
Invited Speakers

Plating Uniformity Improvement Using COMSOL Multiphysics® and the Electrodeposition Module

Multiphysics Modeling of Damage in Composites

Break for Lunch

Get an introduction to the techniques for constructing your own linear or nonlinear systems of partial differential equations (PDEs), ordinary differential equations (ODEs), and algebraic equations within the COMSOL Multiphysics® software.

Get a brief overview of using the Heat Transfer Module within the COMSOL® software environment.

Coffee Break

Explore the meshing techniques that are available in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software and learn about different solver and study types.

Get a brief overview of using the Acoustics Module within the COMSOL® software environment.

Coffee Break

This minicourse will explore the tools for presenting COMSOL Multiphysics® results, including mirroring, revolving symmetric data, cut planes, cut lines, exporting data, joining or comparing multiple datasets, as well as animations.

Get a brief overview of the electromagnetic modeling tools of COMSOL Multiphysics® with a focus on the AC/DC Module, RF Module, Wave Optics Module, and Ray Optics Module.
