Product Information Engineer

COMSOL, Inc is looking for an engineer to join the Product Information Management team in our Burlington, MA office. The COMSOL Multiphysics software spans many different and interesting physics and engineering fields. As a Product Information Engineer, you will be working directly in the COMSOL Multiphysics software to produce product related content. You will start by producing tutorial videos, to build a solid foundation for using the software, and then grow into more projects based on your interests and skills. As part of the Product Information Management team, you will work with a wide range of product specialists and developers, as well as marketing and sales professionals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work in the COMSOL Multiphysics software producing images, animations, and screen captures for:
    • Tutorial videos
    • Product release highlights
    • Product videos
    • Blog posts
  • Outline, script, and record videos to be produced by video team
  • Review highly technical content for a broader audience
  • Write blog posts on product features and model examples

Required Skills

  • B.S. or M.S. in an engineering field
  • Experience with CAD or CAE software
  • Ability to understand complex topics quickly
  • Excellent at communicating between technical and non-technical parties
  • A well-rounded skillset with marketing and sales acumen

Helpful Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of professional experience working with software developers
  • Interest in a wide range of science and engineering fields
  • A curiosity to learn about both popular and niche physics
