The Acoustic Behavior of a Woofer in a Bass Reflex Enclosure

This example models the acoustic behavior of a woofer mounted in a bass reflex enclosure and placed in the corner of a room.

One of the most important design parameters for a loudspeaker driver is its sensitivity as a function of the frequency. To isolate the driver’s performance from that of the environment it usually operates in, the driver is often set in an infinite baffle. This model, on the hand, considers the parameters of the room.
