Coupled Schrödinger-Poisson

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi Everyone,

I am attempting to create a coupled Schrödinger-Poisson solver using Comsol, to be used when modeling charge accumulation in nanostructures. I've seen a few Comsol papers that have done this, but the details of the implementation are pretty sparse. Has anyone here implemented this sort of model before? Is it correct that I can't just use multiphysics to do both at once, since the two equations need to be handled by different solvers and are coupled in a difficult way? Any help is much appreciated.

Many thanks,
John
