Simulation of a heated mixer

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone,

In a school project, we are trying to simulate liquid mixed and heaten. We have simulated the heating, which works. However, when we're trying to simulate the mixing, it always fails.
To do it we first followed the "Laminar Flow in a Baffled Stirred Mixer" tutorial, which perfectly works. We tried to applied it on our geometry, without any success. We modified many parameters but the simulation always stops before the end (we don't simulate heating in the same time).

Would it be possible to modify the geometry of the "Laminar Flow in a Baffled Stirred Mixer" ?
Or is it any easier way to simulate the machinery ?
(or does somebody has always done such a simulation and has got the file :) ? )

Thanks a lot for your answers
