Error while importing stl file and geometry

I have imported .stl file into comsol. The .stil file is a model which is combination of three stl model.And I also drawn two cylinderical geometry. When I want to define material, it showing error in union of geomentry. And sometimes error is not begin generated instead its not allowing to select any of the object for the material. Can anyone please help to resolve this problem.
