Modeling a fiber optic cable

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I'm new to using COMSOL and I am working on some research that uses a fiber optic cable that is being affected by some outside frequency. My question is if there is a way to simulate a length of fiber optic cable to better understand how the outside frequency would affect the cable? I'm particularly intrested in Rayleigh-Backscattering.

Thank you.
