import autocad 3d model

hi all!

I would like to ask if i can import an autocad 3d model in comsol 3.5a. i use autocad2013. i want to make a screw 3d model like the one i attach and which i have made in autocad. but i just find it a bit hard to do that in comsol. could anyone help please?Thanks in advance.

heck the 3.5 doc about geoemtry file formats, I cannot remember if COMSOl reads directly Autocad *d or of you need to convert it to step or another format, it depends also on which CAD module you have
