Fluid flow in multiscale porous media

Hi there,

I have a problem and want to see if COMSOL helps me or not? I got 3D X-Ray micro-CT of a core material. The samle is highly heterogeneous and the scale of heterogenieties vary from sub-micron to mm. I am not familiar with COMSOL, before starting to get familiar I want to know if it is possible to import my NCfile to COMSOL and simulate fluid flow. Needless to say, since I have multiscale porous media (e.g. Vuggy carbonate) I need to apply Stokes' equations in vugs (Large resolved pores) and Darcy's law in micropores.

Thanks and regrads,
saeid
