AC Voltage source in magnetic field interface.

Hi,

I'd like to study the distribution of resistive losses on a slab with eddy current produced by an inductor. In my study the inductor works with an AC voltage of 300V with a frequency of 10kHz. I tried to build a model to do that and i use symmetry in order to avoid large number of degree of freedom. The model is a eighth of the real dimension. My question is: How i can give the voltage difference, so i mean how i can generate current? In the model i'm using the impedence boundary condition and the difference voltage is applied in the surface number 8 and 17.

Can someone help me.

Hi

I would suggest to use the frequency domain solver, then to set one boundary to the GND and another to a terminal/lumped port with a given voltage (amplitude)

Hi,

you can play with lumped port. I have modified your model with full geometry (symmetry is not so easy for magnetic fields).
