Time dependent moving

Hi,

I want to move the material from t=0 to t=5 seconds and stop after 5 seconds with moving mesh.(velocity=1)

So I typed, t*(t>0)-t*(t>5)

But, i found the material moves back to its original place after 5 seconds.

Plz help

Thanks

Is this supposed to be an equation for velocity or for displacement.

You're not giving a lot of information.

I got it!

It was displacement.

But can i ask you one more thing?

I typed 0.1m/s in mesh velocity

and I tried to solve for 10 seconds.

But it didn't move 1 m, but less than that

Can you explain why?

Thanks!
