Thanks I got

Live Link Matlab

Used Licenses = 0
Total Licenses = 30

(I'm connected to the server of the school which has a particular license - is not personal)

What does it mean? So I have Live Link or I need to have Used Licenses=1 instead of 0. Thanks

Hi

for me I read it as: you are not using the LiveLink licence, but it's available, so COMSOL is not started with matlab

Good luck

Hi Ivar,
I have the same problem. I want to connect Matlab to Comsol 4.2a. I can create a Comsol model easy and save it as a .m file, but the Matlab program does not run it. I checked the license 0, , it says used= 0, available = 5. What do I have to do?
Thanks

Fred

Hi

you have install and run info in the manuals, and some tricks in the KB (knowledge Base on the main site, such as being sure you have registered your matlab as com server once, see the preferences)
If nothing else works, it's best to discuss with your sysadmin or ylour local COMSOL rep, for installation issues
