Location of probe varying with time

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all.
I am solving a problem where a laser scans the workpiece. The beam is modeled as a heat source with the location changing with time. Now I want to plot the temperature at the center of the beam with time. How do I go about doing this.
I know the location of the point as a function of time.
Any input is highly appreciated. Thanks.

I basically have the same question. I can't define the probe coordinates as a function of time, which seems intuitive enough.

Hi

can you define a line along the path and have the temperature profile be plotted along the line ?

Good luck
