Possible to use load -mat arrayX?

Hi,

I am running an m-file using matlabR2008a and comsol 3.5a. Is it possible to load a mat file into
comsol?

What I did is :
load -mat arrayX;

But I get a message like:
Error: 9040
Fatal error.
-Type:NullPointerException

Details:
Exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException
(rethrown as com.femlab.util.FlFatalException)
Messages:
Fatal error.
- Type: NullPointerException

OK. seems the
save arrayX arrayX;
does not give arrayX.mat in octave...
