COMSOL is hiring an applications/ sales engineer to join its team in Bangalore. The candidate will be expected to perform the technical aspects of both sales and applications support to service a wide variety of customers, both commercial and academic, across a broad range of scientific disciplines. Part of a small team in the India, you will need to use both your technical and interpersonal skills to help customers understand how COMSOL Multiphysics will address their needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive sales via generating new accounts and managing existing accounts
- Provide pre and post sales technical support for COMSOL Multiphysics and related products
- Give product demonstrations at technical seminars, conferences, and meetings with customers
- Act as an instructor at product training sessions
- Work collaboratively with development engineers and participate in product development for the COMSOL product line

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High energy, self-motivated, quick study with positive attitude, flexible nature and goal-oriented work habits
Minimum Requirements
- M.Tech. or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience using engineering simulation software (COMSOL or related) preferable
