Aircraft Structures for Engineering Students
This course will establish the basic design features and calculations for aircraft structures. It starts with an introduction to Mechanics and incorporates theories of elasticity as it applies to stressed shell structures, where investigated loads are from aerodynamic behavior. Within this, we will look at modeling trusses, beams, plates and shells.
In this course, the COMSOL software will form an integral part of the analyses.
